The engineering team is looking for a highly motivated mechanical engineer(s) with a diverse background in mechatronic and automation systems. You will have involvement in projects, commissioning, acceptance and ongoing maintenance, upgrades and repairs.

Description

You will be part of a cross-functional engineering team that research, design and develop in-house cooking robotic technologies. A typical day may consist of assist in designing mechatronic and automation systems, work with other engineers on fabrication and assembly of parts and components (mechanical, electrical and electronic parts). You will also responsible for supplier communications, manage China-based vendors and engineering building support.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in CAD software such as Solidworks / Pro-E / CATIA.

  • Strong understanding of design, development and qualification processes

  • Hands on experience in designing or assembling (i) mechanical parts, (ii) mechatronic / automation sub-systems or (iii) system integration is a plus

  • Ability to work with other engineers to arrive at suitable solutions

  • Strong, proven experience, in automation techniques for component inspection and assembly

  • Self-motivated, with a proven record of successful execution

  • Ability to identify and communicate clear project goals and project plans

  • Ability to clearly explain technical issues

  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and an ambitious spirit

Education & Experience

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience/skills required

  • MS or Ph.D. not required but absolutely welcome
